Our first stop was the Riviera. I must admit; I have a bit of a fascination with old Hollywood. So stepping onto the grounds, where Rat Pack icons Franck Sinatra & Sammy Davis Jr. stayed, gives me a bit of a rush. And if you haven’t stayed at the Riviera before, you really must check out their retro chic grounds. They are just fabulous!

I’m not going to say that someone started to go a little Diva on us… But we did show up to a cabana with her name on it, followed by a pitcher of “The Donna” cocktails. Hmmmm ;)

After a lovely afternoon by the pool, we made our way back to the house we had rented. I must give a huge shout out to the Itty Bitty Party Committee for putting all the plans for this trip together. They did a phenominal job!

And this is how the first night came to an end… screaming, jumping & panicking over a few LITTLE bugs in the bathroom. Clearly we should have stayed at the Riviera!
